The honest version.
Everyone's got a hard-luck story. Mine's better than most. You're not getting it.
Here's what I worked out instead: everything is a system. Nobody owes you a hand. Counting cards is free.
I've been a gamer all my life. Not for the winning, for the theory crafting: I wanted to know how the game decides who wins. Sit with a system long enough and it shows you the move. All of it turned out to be practice. Useful hobby.
The systems that decide who gets chosen don't care who deserves it. Nobody rigged them against you. Nobody rigged them for you either. They pay out to whoever sits down and reads them. Who's reading them for you?
The logo is an owl. I'd like to say I chose it. It sees in the dark and flies in silence. Felt right.
I'm Tyson Farrington. One person, one set of hands. I come from a painting family. Days I paint houses with my dad in Canberra. Nights I build tyso. It's my reason to stay awake.
The rest, briefly. I make drum and bass in Ableton. I keep CRT monitors running long after they should have died. I read strange old books and keep lists of everything. I like wisdom in the old sense. Jack of all trades. All of them meet at a point. So does a spear.
I fall asleep to Roman history. It leaks into my dreams. Most nights Rome falls.
My favourite quote sits buried on my Facebook where nobody scrolls. It's Latin for remember that you will die. It keeps me focused on what's true. I feel absolutely blessed. I wish people well, even the ones who never text.
This page tells you almost nothing about me. That's deliberate. Your business I can read in twenty minutes. 0475 178 181, text first. I answer fast. Getting chosen is the whole point.
